I finally registered because your posts always fill me with questions. I don't have a tank or any coral right now but I want one just currently in the gathering info stage.

This one made me wonder, at the point you have a stable set up and obtain a frag - how long does it take before it no longer looks like a fragment? Or how fast do they grow?

Well glad to know you joined!

The answer is many answers! :D

Coral can grow at many different rates based on different variables like what type of coral it is, your tank parameters, how big the frag is, is the frag aqua-cultured or wild, etc..

There are many different options to weigh. Also the same coral may grow fast in one system and grow slow in another.

Welcome!
