I have no idea of my chalice is alive or not. I have never seen sweepers or feeding tentacles. How can I tell if it doa?

To be honest I can't tell much of anything from the picture. But if there is coloured flesh it is alive. If it is white it is freshly bleached and is dead. Usually it is fairly easy to see if there is flesh on it.

There is still color to it. I'm doing a water change today and Tuesday. Hopefully it'll show some sign of life

I had one chalice that never had the tentacles come out and it was fine. My golden chalice right now has never had long sweeper tentacles out. Or at least not as much as I have seen, but it is healthy and growing.

It looks like it is just browned out. Some TLC and food should get it to recover. GL!
