Hello. I have a ReefLED 90.
I have changed internet providers. How to I connect my light to my new WiFi?

I need detailed instructions as obviously I can’t figure it out for myself.

Thank you.

Do a hard reset on the light and delete and reinstall Reef Beat, though I don't believe anything changed because you are going through your in home Wi-Fi.

I am afraid this is the case. I have a custom schedule that I didn’t write down or take screen shots of.
It took me a day to get my Nest smoke detectors to connect. I had to do the same thing, delete the app, and erase all the detectors (4).
Now that I won’t die in a fire I’ll get my tank going. I have a wifi Inkbird temp controller too.

Well. I finally got up the nerve to try to get this light on my new network.

What a disaster. This light is ridiculous.

After hours of messing with it and getting nothing but errors, I gave up.

I set up a completely new ReefBeat account on my iPad.

I was finally able to get it to connect but I was too scared to try to put it online so I decided to only use the light on offline mode.

l believe it will work. (Crossed fingers)

Whoever designed this light should be kicked in the private parts.

Why is there no way to just turn the light on without totally depending on a WiFi connection?

If you search on the internet you’ll see that it’s a common problem, not being able to get the light to connect. There should be an emergency switch to just turn it on.

I don’t have a Master’s degree in Computer Science. But that’s what you’ll need to get this light to work. I regret buying it. I’ll keep it going for as long as I can but I won’t even look at other Red Sea product if it’s only connection is WiFi only.
