Changing sex, how long?

I have Haddon carpet anemone. I purchased two clarkii clown fish. They are both the same size. Seems they both must be the same sex. One dominates the anenome, not letting the other no where near it. How long before one changes sex to be a pair and lets the other play in the nem?

Proably a couple months.Even if they become male and female they could still fight and not share the anemone.
