Everywhere I’ve saw online this stuff is like $100. Is it usually this much or is it just more expensive online. (New to the hobby)

You should try all your LFS or keep an eye out for specials online.

Also note the difference between frag, heads and colonies. Frags of the common frogspawn and/or hammer usually runs for $15-$30

You can easily find the more expensive kind that is absolutely up there but I would definitely do my research for pricing, if you are just looking at common colors/species. Some dealers tend to overprice them just because of demand.

I get mine for 10 bucks a 2 head frag from the fish store :) Just look around before you shop online. Some of the frags that I have bought online for 30-50 bucks are like 20 or so at the fish store & are much bigger.
