Initially, i was making this for a 20L tank and 20L sump to turn into a small frag tank. Lately though i am reconsidering using it for a 10g fish qt and a 5g invert / coral qt. I can’t have both and recent events have reminded me of the importance of qt! Either way, i decided to make a stand from junk pallets. I did use a few 1 1/2” x 3/4” boards for the frame but everything else is pallet wood from dumpsters. I made the side removable to fit a sump and the top removable just because. Haven’t finished the doors yet but when i do I’ll post the finished product.

I really like the rustic look. Good job. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks. It’s pretty rough so I’ll probably sand it. Not looking forward to doing the doors!
Hey that looks GREAT, so good the see some innovation in stands not the onyx black or simple pine. So what's it going to be color stain or natural? May want to consider more access panels than just the front. Great job!!

Thanks a lot! If you look at the first picture the top and right side are removable…i intended to slide a 20L sump in but probably won’t do a sump now if using for a qt. I’m probably just going to sand it and put a clear coat on it.
