Have some more to do of course, need the top... and 'stuff to make it pretty' , lol - but it is together, and it is in my room! That was the hard part- getting my husband and son home at the same time to do it- THANK YOU GUYS! xoxoxo I love it! Exactly what I wanted - 8ftx36wx36h

So- now that my stand is put together, I am planning and plotting, haha told hubby he probably won't see me for the next month or so as I will be locked in my fish room :) This has been a project of mine for awhile now- so excited to see it coming togther!!

I have my ORA occy's, my ProAquatix Picassos, my Banggais (Ocala Aquariums), ..... really leaning towards another GSM pair- just waiting to ponder that until all tanks are a go. I don't want to take a chance, as I fell so in love with the one and only pair I had before we moved :(

Also have been itching for a sea horse tank..... lol- may see that in the future soon :) if I can find the ones I want :)

(one thing is for DEFINITE: I will be looking for another dwarf octopus - I really miss the one we had awhile ago :) )

That thing is huge. Can't wait to see the tank. Will you be skinning the stand to dress it up a bit?

Hmm..lol- skinning the stand?
Yes I will be dressing it up a bit, but it is not for (a) tank.. it is for multiple tanks combined.
I have, however, envisioned a bigger tank, now that I saw this stand up in the room... but not going to press my luck today, lol!
They would probably shoot me and feed me to the fishes, lol!

Going to add doors, lighting, shelves, trim, ...all the pretty stuff since it's in my fish room- I want it to look good. It's not going in the garage, :) None of my fish go in there (except the larvae in the beginning :) )

But now for the fun part... Lowes, LFS, setting up tanks :)

Wow this is awesome. I hope to one day have a fish room. If I made one of those, I might become single again due to the time spent in there lol.

That's crazy, can't wait to see how you set it up exactly. So you'll have multiple tanks on top of the stand, one big sump underneath?

Yes, multiple tanks.. I have 55gal, 20L's, 14gcube, 10's, 5's, and a 2.5 but I can't seem to find more of these little ones -I like them.
(as of now since I didn't make it to the $1/gallon tank sale this time around) :(
I will need to hit that sale again haha!

I am planning on putting all the 20l's on the stand, in a border along the sides and back - leaving space open for the baby tanks- I am going to have 2 tanks per pair, on this stand, then plans are in the mind to build another stand... growout tanks- but haven't shared this with hubby just yet, ;)

I will incorporate a workspace to feed, clean, frag, take photos- etc- trying to keep the middle space open for this.

I will be adding to it eventually, upwards- with more tanks as needed - lights, etc because I haven't QUITE decided if I want the shelf to be permanent or temp - for now I will keep it temp.

Underneath- planning on sump/fuge/frag station- but that is going to take some time- I don't want to rush it as I am wanting to utilize the space I have in a smart way :)

With all that storage - it will free up my closets in the room- there's 2. One is a regular closet, with shelves- ok for storage. The other is an accordion style double door - with light and a shelf that extends across the top..... mmmm.... can we say PHYTO STATION! hahaha I am planning on keeping the phyto in there. - along with perhaps moving the mini fish fridge from the garage into the closet :) better to keep the food closer to the tanks.

I literally keep second guessing everything I want to jump on - because it seems I have waited for this for such a long while- that all my plans are flooding my mind at once, lol - so stay tuned guys :) will post pics soon ... and yes, Raul- I PROMISE when my main tank is tackled into the mix.... a tour will be arranged, :) - and you will be the 1st to know :)
