Hello,
I used chemiclean recently to fend off some cyno. The product worked as described and it cleared out 99% of it within 2 days. I then did a water change after 2 days and added carbon as recommended but my skimmer was still going bonkers. I waited 4 more days and did another 25% water change earlier today. The skimmer is still going bonkers. Not quite as bad but its still overflowing no matter what I do.
Is this common? How many water changes will I have to do? Has anyone else run into this problem? I know I didnt add too much chemiclean, if anything, I only did about 80% of the recommended dose. I've noticed some dinos starting to grow now too since either because my skimmer hasnt been taking anything out or its a result of using the chemiclean.
Thoughts anyone? Is it matter of doing water changes until the skimmer goes back to normal?
thanks
Mike
