I'm interested in adding another tang to my lps reef, but seem to be leaning towards the chevron. I know that the bright colors will fade, but wanted to hear from other who have kept them with other tangs. I will be adding a chevron into my current reef that houses a male naso and a young scopas. Room isn't an issue, this is a 125 long that will be soon 250 or 300. Any adult pictures would be nice too, as looking through the web only shows the young ones. BTW, I haven't order a chevron yet, still trying to find a good online dealer that has one (any suggestions on a good online place would be great too). Anyway, thanks for looking, Brad.

i wish i had pics of my adult it was so ugly i never thought about it lol..... it looks like a black carp when it matures...:(

I still seem interested. I try to let my corals do the color talking, lol. If black long nose tangs price came down, I would be still looking at them too, lol. Thanks

I know what you mean about the Longnose. I have a hard time buying expensive fish anymore. I'd rather drop a few hundred on a one of a kind coral, clam, or a bunch of stuff for that matter. Something with a longer shelf life.

I understand that!!!! I'm taking a trip up to a few large reef stores and plan on dropping around $400-$600 between corals and possibly a few fish. I'd rather spend that entire amount on a few show corals than risk a single fish that may not make it because of something. This also sounds like a joke a played on my wife, telling her on April 1st that I spent $799.99 on a tang!!!!!! HA, HA, she went crazy and almost sent me to live in my reef room. I kept explaining that atleast I received Free Shipping! Ha, still a tough subject to bring up.
