Heading to Chicago next month. Any really good stores in the area I should check out?

Old Orchard Aquarium is in Skokie, just north of the city - huge selection. Xzotic Aquatics is in Niles, also just north of the city & they're awesome!
Old Town Aquarium is a really nice, smaller store on Irving Park & Pulaski - great store as well.

Thank you!

Those are both decent stores. I live 2 min from Xzotic Aquatic and have a few issues with them (lack of care for sick fish, no dry goods). Seven Seasons in Mt Prospect is decent. Tank It Easy is really cool on the NW side.
Thanks!!

These all still good? Headed there in a week and may have to check some of them out one evening if I can. Working and staying down not far from navy pier

Old Town Aquarium & Tank It Easy are still open. They’re not super close to Navy Pier but you can definitely get there pretty easily. If you can only choose one, go to Tank It Easy, in my opinion. They have more displays to check out and a huge coral farm system.
Several of the stores in the north suburbs have closed - Xzotic, old orchard, seven seas.

I think The Coral Stop is up that way. I thought I saw them post on facebook onetime they were in the Chicago area. They may just be a garage seller though, not sure.

Check our Illinois Valley Reef Club on FB and visit our local sponsor list. Some great sellers, both storefront and basement around.
