So I'm not sure how but noticed a chip todat. I unfortunately can't move the sump and just replace it without tearing down practically my whole tank. Is this cosmetic or do I need to worry? If so can I repair this in place with some epoxy or like sister glass like you do with joists?

There isn't a right answer to this. It may be good forever, it may not.

It's probably ok for now. If you are really worried, I'll fill it with silicone.
