Chip in sump

So I'm not sure how but noticed a chip todat. I unfortunately can't move the sump and just replace it without tearing down practically my whole tank. Is this cosmetic or do I need to worry? If so can I repair this in place with some epoxy or like sister glass like you do with joists?

It's probably ok for now. If you are really worried, I'll fill it with silicone.
