Was just moving my tank and accidentally chipped it. Is it still good or too risky to use?

Same here
Then that is the answer. It could last another 10 years or fail in 10 minutes. With the location and my desire to sleep at night, I also would not risk it.

The main thing is making sure none of the cracks go all the way through. Not sure we would ever be able to tell in a picture, you have to inspect it closely in person.

I had a way bigger chip closer to the seal. It worked for almost 2 years without problems until I sold it. However that was the sump so lower pressure to deal with. I used 2 part epoxy to fill everything in so the chip is less prone to more damage.

I guess if it’s going to crack it will do it as soon as I fill it up not a week later correct?

I think it would be okay, it doesnt appear to have any spider web like cracks coming from it. I would attempt it if it were my tank and keep an eye but if your gut says no then listen to your gut feeling. Gut feelings are always right

I know what I would do, but I don’t want to influence you one way or the other. But I always have enough totes and brutes and water made to ensure when it goes south, at least I have some items near by to help aid the pain.
