Looking forward to seeing some new pictures. What setting are you running on the MP10? I got a few softies myself and been playing with different settings. Currently running a modified WWC schedule at lower setting. Constant, Reef Crest, Lagoon and Nutrients from 20% to 40%

Quick pics from tonight....dirty glass and all haha! The finger is growing out of control and looks like a baseball glove.

I had the pump on the right side...constant mode 50% day and 35% at night. Last week changed to left side since the sinularia was blowing down into the rocks. The flow was too much at 50 so changed to 50 lagoon and the corals seem much happier.

I will clean the glass tonight and get some better pics tomorrow

I am looking to change fish foods. While I like Reef Frenzy, I feel like it adds too much to the water and my bacteria go crazy.

When I feed pellets things seem to stay stable. Currently I feed Hikari pellets, but BRS says TDO are some of the best pellets out there.

Two things...1 what size TDO pellets would be appropriate for mid sized clowns? And 2 if not TDO, what brand do you prefer?

Thanks!

I feed mostly PE Mysis, but also Reef Frenzy so I know what you mean by adds too much to the water. Occasionally throw some Reef Riot.

For dry I mix it between Instant Ocean and Nyos Goji pellets. I also order some Omega One Marine Flake w Garlic and some Benepellets. Have a newer Hector Goby which is not taking any prepare food only hair algae and pods.

We recommend TDO Small. It is a great size range for smaller fish. Corals will also consume it.

So a few days ago the Blue channel of my Peime started flickering.

Called AI service and they determined it is an issue with the LED puck. Luckily its still under warranty at only 10mo old.

Within 1hr of calling my claim was in and replacement light set to ship!

Cant say enough great things about the AI customer service.

Lovely tank!

Do you keep your Jebao on random flow or steady flow?
Thank you!!

I swapped out the Jebao for an MP10 back in Jan. I started on reef crest (random) but didn't care for it so changed to constant which worked great. A couple months ago I changed it from the right side to left becuase I felt the flow pattern would be better.

The issue I faced when doing so was the sinularia was now being blown over in one direction due to the current. I changed to lagoon (gentle random) and everything has been super happy since.

When I has the jebao I used the Else (random) mode. I didn't like how you couldn't change the output though and always maxed out at some points. The MP10 allows you to set a max which gives much more versatility

Decided to try hatching BBS. Part fun, part to vary up the diet for the tank. Got a small hatchery 3D printed and some eggs. Will try my first batch next week and see how it goes over!

Been a few months ths since updating here. Been fighting some bacterial slime for about a year now. Believe I mentioned here. But if not here is a link to my other thread about it:

Thread 'I can't raise my nitrates' https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/i-cant-raise-my-nitrates.872275/

Anyway, the battle goes on. Any advice appreciated. But on a good note, corals are looking good!
