I tip my hat to those who can keep these alive long term. Ive tried 4 times and the longest was just over 30 days before it died

If you go to the SPS forum there’s a video I posted of one in a 750g display that was close to two years in at that point and lasted well over 3 years before I left. I feel like having a Macroalgae refugium where pods can multiply by feeding phytoplankton is a must for leopard or tamarin wrasse. Water quality has to be very high, substrate has to be soft enough for sleeping and flow has to be higher than average too.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
