39 watts per bulb is the correct output for a 36" T5HO. You should be good to go with growing atleast softies. Just be sure to use atleast 1 good standalone bulb. ATI blue plus, coral plus, aqua blue special are all standalone. Blue plus gives around a 20k, coral around 14k and aquablue around 10k look.
I'm not that familiar with all the terms. But one of the bulbs is blue and one is white

You should be fine [emoji106]

I don't know why but the Kenya tree always slouches over

Your kenya tree is probably just adjusting to its new home. Leathers can take a long time to puff back up and look good after being placed in a new tank, or even being moved to a new spot in the same tank at times. None of mine have ever looked great before a week in the new tank, and some take longer. They'll also occasionally look awful when they're about to shed (this is their way of cleaning themselves) and will take several days usually to perk back up after that. Give your kenya tree time and don't bother it and it should look better. As long as you don't see any necrotic parts it should be fine.

What do you mean by necrotic?

Mine slumped for like three weeks before finally standing up and perching out like a whacky inflatable tubeman.

He has straightened up but it still shrivelled up

Necrosis is just like it sounds. A hole will develop and tissue will rot away. Kenya trees almost always shed after a big move so I bet that is what he is doing. They look like they are at deaths door then the top layer of skin flakes off and they are perfect again. I wouldn't worry right now. I had some that grew in almost complete darkness under rocks. Hard to go wrong with these guys.

Yeah mine went from out but slumped over, to standing straight but sacked in like brocoli, then all of a sudden, poof! Plus, they like to be in a decent flow area. I had to move mine three times before it finally came out of hiding.

That's exactly what's happening to mine. Now mabe I'll see poof tomorrow.

It will come out. Just give it some time. They're pretty hardy, you will see poof soon.
