Hi guys, I am choosing the power back up for my tank. It crashed one time because of electricity cut, so I think I should consider the power back up.
I think I should only keep the return pump and one of my wave head run during the electricity cut. Is it ok?
My return pump is a Box&Water 9000 81W, my wave head is Tunze 6095 21W.
I consider the Yoobao at 80000mAh.
The electricity cut will last around 6-8 hours.
I almost forgot all of knowledge from my physics class so I dont know how to calculate... Please suggest me which power back up should I choose. It will be great if you could share to me the calculation.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you. May you share to me how you calculate that?
There's almost no battery in that unit. Even larger UPS systems will only last an hour or so with just a return pump and wavemakers. DC wavemakers will give you the longest runtime.

I wish you could share any suitable equipment brand.

Most likely won't be able to run the return off a backup for any decent amount of time as stated above. Running just the powerhead off a backup is the play imo. Will keep oxygen going. The Tunze backup is the best option since you have a Tunze powerhead. If you don't like the idea of maintaining the battery required for the Tunze backup, then a UPS backup would be a better option.

I was able to go 5 days with a. Tunze 6095, a Tunze safety switch and a lawnmower size sealed batter with a tender hooked up to it.
