Everything seemed the same this morning no further tissue loss fingers crossed for when I get home from work.
I know chemi pure is not the answer to the problem just a band aid until I find the cause .
Normally the tank phos runs at .09 to .15 which I have no issues other then some hair algae. I believe the issue started early in November was working a lot of crazy hours and someone other then me was feeding the tank . It could be I have a dead snail or snails that I have not found combined with the possible food issue that started the climb . Time will tell

I believe I figured out what caused my rtn as I just had a similar one after this water change . I removed an area of zoas off my rock work after I was finished taking water out of the tank which I did the last time I had the rtn issue . Yesterday the same thing tips of birds nest rtn not to the extent as last time . So it is my thoughts it was this not a phos spike . The phos spike was due to the run event ?

A little update on my cube .
My experience with dosing amino did not seem to change anything in a good or bad way so for now I stopped that . The PC superman and strawberry wine acros did well for a while then slowly declined and finally died not sure why exactly was STN . I lost the springer dotty back to a faulty outlet that the heater was plugged into . I setup a frag tank recently and about a week ago purchased a small sixtline wrasse which is in qt eating well and looking healthy . Will be changing salt mix shortly just ran out fo my bucket of Red Sea blue bucket going to be going to AccuraSea1 from 2 little fish . The reason for the switch is was not getting constant Alk in new water from settling even though I stirred up the salt after I bought .

Awsome man looking good. What do you keep your nutes at? Specifically nitrate and phosphates but just in general
My nitrates at siting at 4.4 My phosphate are crazy right now .37 . Not sure what’s up with that number has been that way since the end of July . I usually aim for around .15 .

Oh wow . Nitrates not bad at all but those phosphates are nuts. Was just wondering, everything looks nice and happy, especially those acans.

First impression of the new salt mixed clean . Was a little off as the packages are measured for 4.5 gal of water I think I messed up on that as salinity was off by a little bit . But for the most part so far so good. I also added six line wrasse to the tank which has been in qt for 2 weeks and showed no signs of issue and was eating very well and very active in the qt tank .

A small update the salt mix is working out really good numbers are as started on packaging . the six line wrasse ended up jumping in the middle of the night and ended up dying:crying-face: . Will be in the near future getting another when Lfs has in stock.
