Christmas Wrasse in QT

I️ have a Christmas Wrasse in QT for the last 3 weeks. Doing great. No issues so far and I feed 2 times a day. But so far it hasn’t responded to flake or pellets. Only frozen food. Any suggestions on how to get it used to prepared food or how long before they take a nip at it?

This makes it hard to go on 1 week vacations that are coming up. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated!!

Mix a few pellets in with the frozen when feeding. Then gradually increase the ratio of pellets to frozen.

You could also skip a day of feeding, then try a few pellets. If he doesn't eat them right away, leave them and he may go back to graze them.

Also, if you have fish in the dt that eat pellets, he will learn to eat them pretty quickly by observing the others.
