So I got a new Chromis and noticed the little guy rub his head against rock a few times aggressively.

2 days in and he is really ripping his body up. I did a fresh water dip and have him in my quarantine tank with Coppersafe.

I see no noticeable items on his body. No clue what is up, but hopefully I’ve taken the right steps up to this point. Please let me know if you have any other ideas.

5 months into the hobby and I’ve dealt with some challenges. Aiptasia on my 1st frag, first clowns developed bumps that at least caused me to get a QT tank. It hasn’t been easy, but at least I’m learning. I would have dealt with these issues at one point or another.

Likely due to irritation which May be uronema
A freshwater dip will offer temporary relief followed by a formalin bath using either quick cure or ruby rally reef
