Added a few things...

WWC Interstellar Mushroom

And I finally think I got a good clam from DD that seems to be doing good. A little bigger than I wanted for my tank but it's an amazing Clam and am WAY EXCITED that's it's doing good.

It's a little ticked now because I had to move wit where it was because it was right on the glass.....enjoy!

Clam didn’t make it. Still trying to figure out what is going on with it.

Some people think I need to turn my intensity up on my Kessil 360 so I’m slowly ramping it up to avoid shocking everything. I was maxing our at 40%. I’m now shooting for 75%

Will try another clam then.

Thank you for the update. Sorry to hear it didn't make it.
I am still ramping my lighting up slowly at the moment as well.

I will be getting a clam shortly. I kept 4 clams for 6 years in my 90g DT before it crashed.
I still need to do more research on clams in nano tanks and figure out how I will maintain proper levels of calcium mag and alk.

I still need to do more research on clams in nano tanks and figure out how I will maintain proper levels of calcium mag and alk.

I am manually dosing the following

1. 4 ml of alkalinity 2ml in the morning and 2ml at night. Maintaining around 8.4 - 8.7

2. 2 ml of magnesium daily to maintain 1320.

3. 2 ml of calcium daily to maintain 450.

Also dosing Red Sea reef colors daily. Since doing this daily from weekly I have noticed a HUGE improvement in polyp extension mainly in my zoas and coloration has improved in all.

Also started dosing .5ml of Red Sea NOPOX to try to bring down my nitrates. I’ve never had a problem with phosphate .02 but my Nitrates are creeping into the 15 - 20 range even with bi weekly water changes.

I think there is just too much of a load on this small of a system.

What intensity are you trying to get to on your lights? Honestly I don’t know if it was the lights or not. I’ve lost a couple clams now and both have been lost in less than a week. I would think it would take longer than a week for a clam to die of starvation. They start out good and then start having no reaction to light and mantle starts to recedes and then they are gone.

I’ve gotten both from Live Aquaria and Divers Den.

I don't really don't dose anything other than fuel, I do weekly water changes at the moment.
Presently I am running the lights at: UV 18% - violet 23% - Royal 44% - Blue 44% - Green 2% - Red 3% - White 6%
and it is in acclimation mode at 50% for a month. I really like the results I am getting.
Not sure where I want to end up with the lights. Just taking it easy and see what the corals like.

Wow! I need to update this with better pictures.

For the last month I’ve been using the Red Sea Program and have had amazing results with growth, color and polyp extension especially with my zoas. I had numerous zoa frags that would stay closed throughout the day. Now since I’ve started using Red Sea colors and dosing daily they are all out and beautiful.

I’ll try to update tonight.

I also picked up several Yuma’s from Pieces of the Ocean one being the most insane I have ever seen.
