yeah, they said they are willing to cover the shipping.
So next question is am I obligation to replace this coral to the buyer?

No offense but I'm suprised your even asking this question. If the coral is in your tank why wouldn't you replace it? If its not in your tank you should feel some obligation to make the situation right. Losses are part of the risk of doing business and presumably part of the markup whether you are a hobbyist or a professional. It certainly wasn't the buyer's fault the coral wasn't delivered.

If you don't want to be responsible for losses in transit then refuse to ship or make it clear that you will only ship at zero risk to yourself.

Unless you said otherwise before shipping I feel you do as I do if folks want a different shipper then I supply say like usps I dont garrantee shippment thru them, guess it comes down to if your worried about your reputation as this may put a black cloud over it if they are online folks that post alot.

I agree, you need to replace the coral. Unless buyer and seller had some sort of agreement that there was no guarantee. ie. I never guarantee usps shipping, if someone wants something shipped via usps its on their own risk.
