Yet another late FedEX delivery

I put an order into SaltwaterAquarium.con for a variety of snails and a pencil urchin last Thursday night, July 3rd. Nice sale!
Got an email from them my order was ready to ship Monday morning. WOW, fast order filling after a holiday weekend sale! I didn't expect it that fast.
FedEX next day shipping.

Email from FedEX, package will arrive to me Tuesday before 12 pm. I'm home from work by 1 pm,so that works out. Great!

Later... Package stuck in Memphis due to local restrictions. Delivery on next day package won't be next day. Your package will be delivered Wednesday before 12 pm. Great.

Tuesday 4 pm, package arrived at Rochester NY (my city) sorting facility. (So deliver it then, people!)

Wednesday, 8:30 am, still at sorting facility...

Am I a bad person because I called in sick to my part time retirement job so I could be home when (if) my livestock gets here?

gotta say;
in my area ups is the worst!
fedex has been rock solid over the years and if there’s a problem they’ll let me come to the dc and they’ll look to manually retrieve my package.

ups will basically tell me to f off,
and that’s if i even get a human on the other line
