A high bacterial content in the water is somthing many overlook. Thus a deep sand bed , established Refugium , carbon dosing etc.

I place some skepticism in the massive feedings, it’s not true of all sponges, just like many NPS have the myths that follow them. IE low light etc. my dendros n sun corals in 30o par for example.

Do what you can , don’t go to extremes imo. Find a balance if you can.
