I've had my blue maxima for many years now. Lately he's very clammy and his mantle has small tears / holes in it. I've put up a camera to see who's bothering him and I can't catch anyone doing except MAYBE my skunk cleaner shrimp

Today I took him out and gave his shell a large look over. He looks great however I found something weird looking that I don't remember seeing all these years ... I attached pics. What is this? And can you all look over my stock list and tell me if you've had trouble with anything picking on clams? My stock has been with this clam for a very long time with no issues but I'M NOT willing to sacrifice my clam. Period

To me that looks like a Vermetid taking hold.

What should I do with it?
Google images of vermetid and if you agree, carefully cover with the opening of the vermetid with superglue. I have had a lot of Tridacna and vermetid but I would consult others before acting.
