I want to get a clam for my 15 gallon tank after a few months, will it be able to thrive in a tank this size? Also what would the easiest clam to keep be? Thanks in advance

the clams starting point is the light, not the tank size. All clams are easy, they don't need anything except a well maintained stable tank, and a good light.

Lots of light, 200+par generally. monitor calcium alk and PH. they can grow fast and suck up a lot of Cal and Alk in my experience.

tank size doesn't really matter.

I have a derasa in the “refugium” section of my sump which is about 15 gallon size. It is lighted by a Kessil 360.
