clam pinch

Can I ask a question? I have never kept a clam and would like to. Whats a pinched mantle I look at the photos and they look normal to me lol. Any help would be appreciated

I held off on the second dip,and changed out 15 gallons. the last one seems on the up and up, I plan on changing the carbon tomorrow

All three of those articles are good reads if you want to own or own a clam
