clam question

Im getting a clam and was wondering since it will arrive around 11-12 and I wont be home till around 430 will it be okay sitting in a box inside for a couple more hours till iget home or do I need to be there and get it out of the bag? it will only be in the bag for the overnight shipping that's all.

tldr: do i need to be home for shipment or can it stay in bag till i get home?

If you have the option, I would be there when the clam arrives to get into the tank as soon as possible. The less stress the better for tridacna.
