Hi i need help with removing my clam

So when i first have my squamosa clam it was sitting on a piece of rock, i put it on the sandbed thinking that it would stay on that rock, but it jumped off the rock and anchored the foot into the tank floor, im turning the tank that have the clam in it into a nem tank, so i need help removing it please !!

You can carefully use a razer blade to cut the threads if you have to, just make sure not to cut the foot. I've done this without issue before.
Ideally if it's attached to the bottom glass just scrape them off.
Once it's moved put it on a shell, makes it easier to move later if needed

If it's attached to the bottom glass, then carefully cut the byssal threads at the attachment point on the glass and not near the clam. You can gently push the clam to one side to expose the threads and place the razor as flat as you can and cut. Repeat on the other side until you get them all. You'll most likely have to do this a few times to expose all of the threads. Just use a turkey baster to blow the sand away (if you have sand) so you can clearly see everything.
