Hello everyone,
I have this skimmer from one of the tanks that we removed and no longer can use it. It doesn't fit our new system. It's a little dirty but I don't know how I should clean the bottom, but it works like it did the day we bought it. I feel it's a monster of a skimmer.

Just let me know.
Have people interested but no buyers yet.
It works great or at leat I think so.
I had to downsize in our 300 gallon because it just wasn't enough to keep it working properly. That's with a decent bioload as we have 6 bigger tangs and multiple smaller fish. I miss using it because if the aeration it provides, it helped a lot with ph stability.

I agree, do your research.
I have
2 Valingmi Tangs each about 8"
2 Powder tangs each about 6"
1 Regal tang about 5"
1 Sailfin Tang about 8"
8 clowns
1 5" Blue damsel
1 5" wrasse
2 cromis
1 Whitetail dascyllus
2 watchman gobies
2 Blue Sapphire Damsels
I filefish
A huge cuc
Sure I'm probably forgetting something but this was not enough for this skimmer that's for sure. I rarely ever had to clean the cup. Which is good but it would get nasty in the tube since there wasn't enough to keep pushing up. I downsized and now I clean the cup about 2 times a week with a good skim froth and thick brown nasties haha.
