Clean water zoas

Zoas never seem to do well in my tank. My hypothesis is that they probably can't survive because my water is waaaaay squeaky clean. (I don't know why) My nitrates nitrites ammonia all undetectable. Do you guys know any zoas that might actually survive in water so clean?

You can keep them in an ultra low nutrient system just feed some more… you can feed your corals directly (I don’t think it’s makes a different with zoas) or you can feed your fish a little more and broadcast feed your zoas some sort of food like AB+, fuel stuff like that (I like this method personally ) there’s more than 1 answer to a problem so do with this info what you will
