New tank - 3 months in

Zoas came from another tank along with the rock they’re on. Two other rocks came over as well but all other rockscape is new. I mention that because snails and other inverts giving a lot of attention to these rocks in particular and may be disturbing the coral.

Early stages of the tank so many things are still being adjusted and worked out. Recently changed lighting, flow, etc. My Goni looks great. My brand new hammer frag seems happy. But my zoas look unhappy. Too much light? Not enough? Hard to keep everyone happy at once.

Alk 9
Calc 400
Ph 8.1
Salt 35
Nitrates and Phosphates almost zero or zero (could be issue)
Never tested Mag

Dose Kalk nightly. Want to start dosing All-for-reef as my two part dosing shortly. I water change once a week about 20gal (110 total volume). No skimmer yet figuring I don’t have enough load yet. Only a handful of fish and coral.

You have a lot of zoas that are open. I would say the snails crawling over them is what is causing them to close. Having zero nitrates and phosphates is not good. I keep neo nitro and neo phos on hand for these situations and dose. Seems to help me keep my numbers up. You can also feed more

They do that. Just give them some time. They are pretty resilient and can take a lot of different parameters.
