I’ve had a pair of cleaner shrimp for about 6 months now. A week ago I pulled the rock they turned into their house out to clean all the hair Algae off of it. One of them returned to the rock and the other never went back. Today while I was looking at him I noticed one of his eyes are missing and he has a hole on his side. It’s got black stuff around the edges of it… almost looks as if he’s rotting from the inside out. Anyone got any ideas what’s going on. Sure he’s a goner unless something miraculous happens but would still like to know what’s going on.

No never seen aggression to them although I do have a flame hawk but I have peppermint shrimp in there I bought as a snack for him about a month ago but it’s still alive. I’d figure he would go after that first otherwise no crabs, yellow tang two clown bicolor blenny 3 fire fish and coral beauty angle
