Cleaner shrimp

Hi I have 3 cleaner shrimps 2 of them have disappeared I can’t find the dead body of them if they are dead does anyone knows if they go inside the rocks and hides?

They will usually go into hiding for a little while after molting since they are soft and vulnerable during this period.

Sometimes more then one cleaner without enough space will have territory establishment issues

Some fight to gain ground, some die…

Most yeah molting can cause them to hide as well but if you don’t see a shell or anything after a while then I say it’s wraps for those.

Especially if you have hermits and such, they’ll make quick work of them
