so before i get my new acrylic tank wet, just want to make sure i have the right stuff to clean it.

its 3/8" thick acrylic around most of it, the back wall is 5/8" thick.

i was thinking of going with this magnet, the Algae Free Tigershark:

then i'll go get those scotch bright dobie pads from walmart, and just insert the magnet into that. do i need any more padding on the inside?

and as far as cleaning down near the substrate, i have one of those 12" kent pro scraper handles, and i guess i'll just attach one of the plastic blades to it.

what about this thingy, anyone used it before?

what about for the magnet on the outside of the tank? (no diapers ;) )

and as far as cleaning the outside, where is the best place to buy this brillianize or novus stuff?

I wouldn't any magnet cleaners on acrylic. I scratched the hell outta my tank. Both of em. A lot of people seem to be happy with their Kent Pro Scraper.
