I was wondering how to clean, clean the wetside of an mp10? I already use a toothbrush every two weeks during my water change to scrub it, but it smells like a dead snail and I would like it not to anymore. Any ideas?

I clean my MO-40's by soaking them in a solution of vinegar and water. Give em about half an hour and scrub with toothbrush. Be careful of the the very thin front guard. Works like a charm, looks like new and gets rid of the smell. Don't forget to rinse well before reassembly.

If soaked for a prolonged amount of time the vinegar can ruin rubber. But mixed in a solution for shorter amounts of time it should be fine.

Just used the vinegar and water method and it worked like a charm no more dead snail smell, thanks a bunch!
