Cleaning old rocks from established tanks

My lfs gave me some old live rock that was just sitting outside the store for months from old tanks that had been broken down. If I do two cycles of bleaching the rocks would that remove everything including copper if it was used.

Your best bet is to do a few searches on R2R with respect to cleaning rock. You'll probably find the answer therein.
