The Radion has been on my tank for a year. So it's time to take it apart and clean the fan vents. It's an easy job and only took a few minutes. It's good to keep your cooling fans clean so you lamp will run cool.

First remove the light from the tank and place on a towel.

Then with the light with the pucks facing up remove the Phillip screws 4 around the fan.

Now using air can of compressed air you can purchase at Home Depot.

Now blow out the fan itself and clean the top off before reassembling the lamp. You can now reinstall the Radion on your tank. Always make sure you thought the clamp tight so the light does not fall into your tank.

This will keep your Radion cool and running if you do it once a year.
