Clear air bubble

Last week I did 80 gallon water change from 350 water volume cleaned the sand bed in front of glass between glass and sand to clean it out now I'm getting clear air bubbles on the rocks some cyno and hair algae I test phos telling me like .50 I'm running brs phosate remover with carbon with no luck trying to do weekly water changes but than my cal and mag drop what's the best way to get this under control I also did diy algae scrubber it seems to be working ok and I use ro di water with 0 ppm and reef crystal salt

When you say you are running the phosphate remover from BRS, is that GFO?

How much and how long has it been in the tank and how are you using it?

At 0.5 ppm (those are the units you mean, right?), it may be depleted in only a couple of days.

How are you measuring phosphate?
