Prevents accidents and still keeps the rimless look you can add extra feeding holes like I did and it's great quality

I have a similar one from Artfully Acrylic on my RSR 250 and also love it. Protects the jumpers and keeps the clean look. I went for a very minimalist top with no feeding holes, just a couple of very small cutouts for cables at the rear. We just lift it up a little when feeding frozen food, pellets just go through the mesh.

The red sea 250 was like 4 weeks but the 425 was about 5 and a half weeks when you ask for custom cut out it takes a little longer but to be honest its worth the wait .

So you didnt need to notch for the lights is seems. Is there a little gap for the brackets on the back side?

Thanks

I know this is an old thread but I’m looking to order a lid just like this one.. are you happy you got the three feeding doors or would you have ordered it differently?
And you didn’t need to have cutouts for the lights? How do they fit?

In the site they ask you what brand tank if it's one of the brands they have listed they know where the light cut goes and yes I find the 3 holes useful to feed reef roid etc but if the tank isn't that big you dont need all the 3 feeding holes one will do you can remove the lid for anything else you need to do if it isn't a big tank but make sure you get cord holes if you have a gyre or any propeller that has cords and you can run them through the cord holes.

do they make it exact dimensions u give them because i gave them exact dimensions to inside of glass like touching.. do they shrink it like a 16th to make sure it sits inside?? or should i have given them dimension with a subtraction of a 16th to make sure its not stuffed/snug between the glass?

Awesome thanks! I have that same reefer 425XL also, so i think I'll just spend the extra money for all the doors.
Another question, if you dont mind.. Im considering having a T5/hybrid light mounted from the ceiling in the future and i dont want to have to order a new lid because the cutouts for the lights are really unsightly.. would you say the cutouts in the back are something you'd want to replace the lid for if you weren't using them?

You dont need to measure your tank if its stock.. I see youre building the waterbox and they have those tanks. https://www.clearviewlids.com/colle...ds/products/platinum-reef-130-4-clearview-lid there is the link for your specific tank.

If it's not a tank they have listed give them the exact dimensions how you want it to fit exactly
