ClearView Aquarium Lids Master Thread - It all started RIGHT HERE!!!

Yep we sure can. A template will most likely need to be made by you out of cardboard or similar material. If you PM us the basic dimensions we can give you the link to place your order to get your build in queue. Dimensions can be submitted later.
48 inches long 18 inches on sides 24 inches in center thank you rick

If it's a sweeping curve to the bow front terminating at sharp corners at the sides then a template won't likely be necessary, but we would ask for a picture to be submitted following your order just so we can make sure there aren't any special surprises unanticipated in the design. Based on your simple dimensions and fairly standard 6" bow initially I'd expect you to fit in this category.

If the curve terminates into rounded corners or follows a non standard sweep then a template will be necessary. Templates can be done simply with an old cardboard box. It's easiest when you can tape the cardboard up inside and trace the opening with a permanent marker.

In either case, the lid you need is our Custom 8-10sf ClearView Lid. here's the link:

Woo Hoo, I got a call from Adam with some clarifying questions about my dimensions, in my attempt to be super spot on I over complicated things and was not so spot on. But what this means is that my lid is in production!!! YES!!!! I cannot wait to get this lid.

Payment sent pics and template to follow thank you

Thanks for the order! We look forward to it!!

But of course! The last person we want confused about dimensions is me ;). I'm pretty good at weeding through though...like a math detective of sorts lol.

We look forward to making your lid!

Thanks for the compliment! We appreciate it. It helps us keep going even harder in case we have to go the extra 5 miles to get it done sometime ;).

Who's lids are these?

LOL, Steve...even I...the CHIEF ARTISAN...wouldn't be able to tell what tank that lid was for with you showing so little of it ;). But that one is "special" and not easy for most anyone to recognize even on full scale photos. That lid is for a very big Custom Reef Savvy Frag tank.

Is it still 4-5 weeks on custom lids?

Hi Paul! 5-6 weeks is the quoted Custom lid time, but we are finally getting back on/ahead of schedule from our CNC being down a few weeks ago =). So, your timing for question couldn't be any better as we just pulled your order for programming. We have your sketch and all looks good so no further info needed. Your lid will be programmed today =). This means your lid should ship early week....=)
