As a long time Cleveland sports fan (I grew up near Canton OH) I am numb to the consistent losing in clutch games.....that said, It is disappointing that a team with so much talent can't seem to put it together. :(

Lebron didnt even make an effort tonight. People compare him to Michael but I never seen Michael give up like that lol he was a fierce competitor and would never lay down like that.

Being from Akron I'm of course a huge Lebron fan. Having said that, last nights performance was terrible to "witness" if there is some thing wrong with his elbow he shouldn't be getting so many uneffective minutes. I don't know what the deal is but coach Brown should probably start looking for another job. Two years in a row he has had an all-star caliber team and hasn't been able to bring them together during crunch time. I hope they can pull it together and make it to Orlando.

Agreed. He doesn't seem to be, um, coaching. No strategy. No offensive gameplan. Williams walking it up, passing to LeBron for a jumper is NOT a gameplan. Verejao taking baseline jumpers is NOT a gameplan.

We have more depth and are younger, we should be pushing the pace, constant fast breaks, and lots of subs to keep guys fresh, and doing a lot more outside-in, inside-out, and Williams/James dribble driving.

It's almost like they are trying to lose with the offensive gameplan. A bunch of old guys is outhustling the cavs and being outcoached too.

Theres something else going on even if it was his elbow a superstar doesnt give up like that. How many times in that game did Lebron walk to the weak side stand in the corner and just look at everyone else. He didnt attack the boards he didnt follow up shots he didnt attack the basket all of which he is known to do better than anyone right now. It wasnt just a off night 3-14 ok I understand people have off nights but he was not mentally there at all and didnt give 110% he didnt even give 10%.

Look at Kobe bad knees,bad shooting wrist,broken fingers on shooting hand, ankles hurting lol do i need to go on. Hes has the heart of a champion and will accept no less. Lebron only cares about his image not rings.

Kobe has had his share of awful playoff games. people forget how young lebron is.

That being said, my bet is that the elbow is much worse than Lebron is letting on. he's in a no win situation here. If he sits, Cavs don't have the talent to win. They can score, but they can't defend. If he plays and tells everyone how bad his elbow is, those tool bags on the Celtics will be targetting that elbow just like they did Shaq's thumb back in February. Or, he can keep his mouth shut and try to play through, and listen to everyone question his intensity and desire to win. All these people across the country giving him grief for his effort, and they will be the first ones in line when free agency opens in February. I say give the kid the benefit of the doubt. I lay more blame on the coach for not making changes in game than i do Lebron for his performance. Mike Brown needs to play his smaller, more athletic lineup, guys like Andy, Hickson, etc. Boston is outrebounding and out hustling, yet he gives so many minutes to Shaq and Z, which really bogs the Cavs down. I guess it would help if Mo Williams could guard someone, too.....

After that game where he had to have a wheelchair to get off the court, only to return minutes later and play without any sign of injury? As Joquim(sp.) Noah so aptly put it, a bunch of actresses for sure. And there's a big difference between hack a shaq, and "yank on the finger I just broke for him" Varajao is one of those players, like Noah of the Bulls, that you hate unless he's on your team. Say what you will about him, but dude NEVER takes a play off, hustles from whistle to whistle, and gives 110% every second of every game. If Lebron played with near his intensity all the time, he would be unstoppable.

I'll take my hat off to Rondo, he is a stud for sure. But Pierce has been a non factor in this series, Garnett a shadow of his former self, but still a player. RayRay is RayRay. When he's hot, he can't miss.


They are a good team, but Cavs win tonight 104- 87.

He aint leaving cavs for a crappy team like Knicks. No one really ones to go to knicks, crappy team, crappy franchise for the past how many yrs, old stadium, no players in that team.

He ain't going to leave his place for a crappier team. He can get someone like Bosh or sub star players next year via FA or trade.

Perhaps on offense. But he was guarding LeBron, and doing an excellent job of it. But that won't show up on your stat sheet.

Jamieson was the disappointment of the series more so than LeBron. His defense is crap, and Garnett consistently scored in the post. Worse, he couldn't make up for it in offense... terrible shooting % and next to no points.

sorry but Lebron is in his prime right now lol 5 more years he'll be 30 and 12 years on those legs. You could say that for college players sure there prime is 30 because they only have 5-6 years in the league he came out of high school and has 4 more years in the NBA than most college players look at Kobe hes 31 been in the league 13 years hes still a top notch player but hes beyond his prime he has a all star team around him lol
