I am setting up a 14 gallon bio cube with live rock from a previous tank that had no light on it for multiple months. Putting in a new sand and all new water from tap. What should I expect in terms of a cycling time?

Should readily cycle as I expect the rock has plenty of bacteria. Adding ammonia to 2 ppm and watching it decline is what I would do, then go forth and reef!
