This morning I fed my tank as usual but forgot to put the glass lid back over a part of the tank and about an hour later I hear water splashing. Wrasse splashing around now and then is pretty normal and I almost didn't think anything of it until I remembered that I may not have recovered the tank. So I rushed over to the tank and did an inventory of my fish and quickly realized my flasher wrasse was nowhere to be seen. Of course he ended up behind the tank where it is very dirty and hard to reach. I was able to get him out and back into the tank with no visible damage. It took him a while to snap out of it but he is now swimming around again and looks to be healthy!
It's true what they say, it's not IF they jump out but WHEN. I'm just thankful I was there to catch my screw up.
