As a cold water tank keeper, I was looking all over the world for corals, and found many in unexpected places. This just struck me as really cool,
(Though it’s not research grade)
It just goes to show how many species of coral are unknown to reefing, and probably unknown to science.

A number of years ago my wife and I were visiting Alaska, and while in Juneau we happened upon a public aquarium....associated with a salmon hatchery. The aquarium contained only native species and we were down right surprised at the diversity of life that came from these cold water. Just amazing, and not expected.
