My clove polyps are covered in brown hair algae and have since closed up. I did a dip with 3% peroxide 4 cups water to 50ML peroxide and some of it came off but not a lot I scrubbed it with a toothbrush as well. It didn't do the trick, can I increase the ratio of Peroxide if so, what do you recommend?

IME clove polyps are pretty tough to kill. If you can't get your algae under control you could try a more aggressive route. To deal with GHA, I have pulled a rock with polyps, irritated them so that they closed and then sprinted the entire rock with 3- percent peroxide. I let it sit in the air for a few minutes and then rinsed it in a tub of saltwater and returned it to the tank. GHA died back and polyps rebounded.

Your mileage may vary.

I probably should remembered to update I had did the dip again with the 3:1 ratio and it worked the one is completely recovered the other however is still on the mend but looks so much better.
