Something has happened to my tank recently. Not sure what. Established 3 year old tank, something got out of whack recently and caused some die off. One casualty was my clove polyps which I’d grow like weeds before. Decided to get a new frag from a friend, full frag of probably 10 polyps looks like this after 3 days (got it Sunday)… if you cant tell, it’s an empty frag plug. No trace of them even being there. Totally gone…. Umm what’s happening

Any chance they became dislodged and drifted behind the rocks? Cloves die more slowly in my experience.

Either very low nitrates or someone in tank consuming them. My culprit eating them was a flame angel.

Nitrates of the previous month are attachment, shouldn’t be them. Not sure what would be eating it. I have 3 tangs, 2 clowns, goby, blenny, and 2 damsels.
