Had a clown and long tenicale anemone for 5+years. Everything was fine until clown jump into down spout to sump and was injured, had a few marks. Within 48 hours anemone had eatin my clown. Upset but all good, waited 2 weeks before buying new clowns. The day I went to get clowns from LFS, anemone looked different. After adding clowns, anemone perked up for 24 hrs. I understand the clown dying.

My question is after the clown dies, does the anemone begin to suffer. Is this normal.

What caused my anemone to crash after so many years ?

Thanks

In home aquaria, the only thing the clowns can do for the nems is to give them poop, fish drop. So your nem might just be a bit hungry, but they can survive by photosynthesize if the light is good......
some small nems can be killed by the clowns harassing/rubbing them too much.
