I just moved my 2 year old clownfish pair from my very well matured temporary hplding bin to my newly cycled display tank. They are the only thing in the tank other than some nitrifying bacteria. No CuC either.

The very next day after moving the clowns, i notice these tiny orange pill like things attached to various parts pf my dry rock and even sand.

Are these eggs? If they are kind of curious how and why they are so scattered.

they do look like clownfish eggs. So strange that they are scattered though. Did you notice the pair cleaning any rock/substrate lately? That should be the area that they lay their eggs on. If this is their first spawn, that may explain why things didn't go right! haha

Since you said the eggs are attached, I would check again in a few days. Clownfish eggs will darken in a few days after laying.
