Clown Fish Likes to Play with the ATO Water

One of my clown fish likes to play when the ATO water is flowing into the tank. Do other fish do the same?

Why is it flowing into the tank instead of the sump?

Prevents any chance of a siphon from the ATO container into the sump. But it's also personal preference. I like the water flowing into the display tank then down to the sump.

It's like his own Jacuzzi, love it! Clown fish can certainly live up to there name sometimes

Well what you are doing by putting it straight in your tank is creating a super low salinty area for a brief time....which is why you put it in your sump instead. If you are worried about syphon then put it into your overflow...same height as tank

Just a different way of doing it, both ways work just fine as long as they are setup properly. Plus I bet if he changed it now his clownfish would be Pi**ed.
